A diferencia de muchas otras filias sexuales, esta conducta se caracteriza por suponer un grave trastorno de la personalidad, ya que en muchos de los casos el individuo queda incapacitado para su normal desarrollo en sociedad, se trata de personas incapaces de comportarse como un adulto, y deben ser tratados psicológicamente.
Este problema no debería de afectarnos en absoluto si no fuera por las similitudes estéticas que puede llegar a encontrarse con el lolita, ya que ambos se valen de elementos relativos al concepto de inocencia. Sin embargo lo hacen de manera diametralmente opuesta. Mientras que en el Adult Baby tiene unas connotaciones evidentemente sexuales, en el lolita no es sino una clave más a la hora de representar la belleza.
Esperamos que entendáis la necesidad de delimitar y separar ambos mundos outright.
